What Do I Do Now?

O.K., I'm ready to apply for a mortgage, what do I do now? Simplicity is the key word when you work with Mortgage Network. We make it easy.

Once you have an accepted offer on the property of your choice, the next step is arranging the mortgage financing for the property.

Step by Step

A great first step is to explore this website and gather all of the helpful tips and tools I have provided for anyone needing to arrange a mortgage. Next, you should arrange a meeting with us, at your convenience. This could be during the hours of 9 to 5 but most certainly during hours when you are not working (you no longer have to leave work in order to arrange a mortgage), and at a place convenient for you. This could be at our office, or more likely, your present residence.

I explain to you the different interest rates and terms available. After discussions and answering your questions, we can start to finalize your mortgage, tailored to your needs.

At this time, we fill out a Mortgage Application form and I gather together any other information that I will need in order to arrange your mortgage.

This information is then submitted by me, along with your credit information to the chosen financial institution.

Good News!

Provided there have been no unforeseen problems, I should be able to inform you within 48 hours of submitting your application that the financing has been arranged.

The next step is with your lawyer who draws up the mortgage, as is done in all cases, in accordance to the directions we decided on.

The money to pay the mortgage payments will be automatically deducted from your local bank account on the payment dates. Your mortgage does not have to be with the same financial institution where you do your normal banking.
